How It Works
Content Mapper is a Microsoft Word-based XML authoring environment. Driven by schemas, it takes control of the user interface so the author can create valid XML. The author stays in the familiar MS Word setting and never has to see the XML. »
Creating a New Document
Micrsoft Word templates are provided and make it simple for authors to create content. You can easily design templates that meet any specific needs of your organization. »
Editing Your Document
The familiar MS Word ribbon provides all the tools you need to edit your content and hides any Word functions that are not allowed by the XML schema. You can easily format text, insert tables and images, add lists, and more. »
Publishing Your Document
Content Mapper incorporates a Publishing Wizard so authors can write content once, then publish to multiple formats. The Publishing Wizard allows you to create beautiful documents customized to your exact needs. »
The central benefit of content reuse is it allows you to write and maintain your text once, but have it appear multiple times throughout your document set, and it can radically reduce the cost of maintaining documentation. »
DITA is an XML-based open standard for structuring, developing, managing, and publishing content. DITA adoption isn't exclusive to high tech. We'll show you a simple way to adopt DITA. »
Simply Structured is a simple, yet powerful document structure designed with the Microsoft Word writer in mind. Authors work in MS Word to create organized, hierarchal documents with tables, images, links, and lists with a click of a button. »
